Overview
Inserts are available in sizes from 2" diameter to 4 1/2" diameter in 2 or 3 disk configuration. The size is based on the outside (OD) diameter of the pipe the Inserts are to fit into. Each application will be different. Some race applications have proven satisfactory with only a single disk insert. The use of CC Inserts allows the user to custom tailor the unit for his specific application.
Car Chemistry, Inc. cannot guarantee that any specific application will meet the sound requirements of all municipalities or other governmental agencies. The wide variety of engine configurations and exhaust system designs preclude guaranteeing that all systems using CCInserts will be street legal.

I was wanting to quiet my exhaust note just a bit more on my 90 Accord.
Results? WOW! This is the second best thing that I've installed in/on my car. The little bit of exhaust drone that was there is GONE. The exhaust is even deeper and rumblier under WOT. And from the "seat of my pants" gauge, no performance loss, in fact it feels a bit torquier (Honda's a notorious to having crappy torque, so a slight gain feels huge).
All I can say is that I'm amazed at the results that a small little object such as this can do.
