Product Description
Utilizing the patented CC Insert, these kits offer an alternative to a full exhaust system on Lake Style Headers. Each kit comes with 3 disks to fit the taper of the header cone. Featured picture is the 4" kit. Kits available for: stock or modified small block or big block applications. Also available with a triangular 3 bolt flange or a round 4 bolt flange, welded to the outlet disk for easy bolt-on installation to your header collector. THIS KIT REQUIRES WELDING. Applications available for: Lake headers by Gear Drive, Lime Fires by Sanderson, and Speedway Motors headers and kits. Installation instructions: See Tech Info.

I like the baffles but website is a bit confusing pictures need to separated between the 3.5" and 4" lake header baffles. I thought I was getting 3 different size disks with the 3.5 set.
**Customer made a valid point. We have separated the kits online.**

I had several fitment questions before I ordered. All emails were answered promptly. Very friendly. Fitment just as advertised and discussed. Open headers were way to loud for cruising. These Baffles Sound Great!!!!

I have a 27 T, waned the old school look so went with the Lake Headers. Way to loud with out Baffles. Purchased a set of the Econo Baffles worked out great, sounds amazing. Do have a little bit of popping but nothing significant. Very good product
Car Chemistry Comment: Most popping would be due to a rich fuel mix. Slightly leaning the carb should eliminate any popping. Ken

Lakke Header Inserts 3.5 4.00 in.

I have a 32 Ford Roadster with Gear Drive Lake Headers. I had a lot of popping and too loud for the Streets. After purchasing Car Chemistry Baffle Inserts it fixed my problem. This was the first time I ever had to use Baffles and I found out if you purchase the up-graded 4.00 end Baffle from Gear Drive the Car Chemistry Baffle system works great. No popping and the loud Header noise is reduced quite a lot. Easy to put together with Car Chemistry Steel Wool and High Heat resistant material that goes between the Baffles. Very good product for the cost.

I've installed 100's of these in my customer headers over the last 5 or so years. They are simple to install and allow you to tune for the sound you want.
