Overview

Inserts are available in sizes from 2" diameter to 4 1/2" diameter in 2 or 3 disk configuration. The size is based on the outside (OD) diameter of the pipe the Inserts are to fit into. Each application will be different. Some race applications have proven satisfactory with only a single disk insert. The use of CC Inserts allows the user to custom tailor the unit for his specific application. Car Chemistry, Inc. cannot guarantee that any specific application will meet the sound requirements of all municipalities or other governmental agencies. The wide variety of engine configurations and exhaust system designs preclude guaranteeing that all systems using CCInserts will be street legal.

Thank you for the quick shipping and service. I installed the insert before my muffler and cut out almost all the drone. The exhaust sounds very good. Feels like there is a little more low end torque and a little less high end power but I got exactly the sound I was looking for.Installed on loud Magnaflow Catback system on a Pontiac G6 daily driver.

I recently purchased your 3 disk CC Insert and all I can say is keep offering such terrific products. The insert corrected the severe droning I experienced on the highway and has finally made it so I'm able to drive my car without ear plugs! It's nice when an advertised product delivers on its promises, and yours certainly has exceeded all my expectations. I can't thank you enough!

I had serious problems with drone at low rpms and highway speeds of 60-75mph. I added the 3 disk insert to my aftermarket exhaust system and it reduced the drone by about 80%. Using the restrictor plug or the stainless steel packing along with the insert probably would have reduced the drone even more. The insert will cause a little restriction, which means that you loose some of the power gains that come with an aftermarket exhaust, but your performance will still be better that stock. If drone is bothering you, you should definitely try this product.

I had the dreaded 2k drone from the flows. I had bought 2 chamber Delta 40's hoping that it would be tolerable NOT. I bought these after measuring the id of my factory tips. They slid in with a tight fit and then I fastened them with a bolt and pinch nut. The drone was not completely gone but was no longer annoying. If I used the rest of the hardware supplies and packed them it would have been eliminated.
